CHRISTMAS

Yes, I am posting about Christmas in April! I need to post everything I have missed for scrapbooking purposes so here it is! Hopefully I will be better at blogging from now on.

Alex was trying REALLY hard to open this present!

Jaxson's favorite gift was this double basketball arcade game. Him and Alex also got Jazz jerzey's to go with it.
BRISCOE CHRISTMAS EVE PARTY

Nelson's favorite gift was this little MP3 music player. He loves rocking out to it.
All the grandkids in their new shirts

NELSON

This is just a cute pic of when Nelson fell asleep reading a book. Nelson is now potty trained! YAY! Actually, can I still say that when he still has accidents quite a bit? The little stinker will do so good and even stay dry through the night and then some days he will just pee his pants all day long! Oh well, he's only2, right? He is still my cuddliest little boy, but he is turning into a naughty boy! He loves to make messes, be mischevious, and tell me no! He's talking better, but basically just copies you when you tell him to say things. His cutest thing he says is when you ask him a question, he says "ya" really cute. And when you tell him do something he says "K"

ALEX TURNS 4!

For his birthday Alex got bug catching gear and a Diego Rescue Pack (just a regular backpack) to put it all in. Then he got all dressed up like Diego and was ready to go huntin' for bugs! To bad the ground was covered in snow that day! Alex is sure growing up. He can ride a bike with no training wheels. He only whines about 70% of the time now rather than 100%. O.k., I might be exagerating. He always makes me laugh with the funny things he says.

I luv these boys!

Brotherly Love!

Jeremy reading People Magazine to Alex to get him to sleep!

EASTER

Nelson all ready for the Gate City Easter Egg Hunt

My favorite boys at grandpa's after the egg hunt

We had the Briscoe family Easter party at our house this year and it was really fun.

Easter Morning!

Jeremy hates this pic! It was easter morning and Alex put on Hannah's flower headband, while holding a sippy cup, and sucking on a sucker binky(ring pop) My 4 year old has turned back into a baby!

SOCCER SEASON!

I love going to my boys soccer games! This is Alex's first year playing. He loved his soccer practice and wore his cleats and jersey all day everyday for a week. Then it was time for his first game and he refused to play! I'm hoping next saturday goes better. Jaxson on the other hand scored 11 goals.

Jaxson is our sports enthusiast. His obsession right now is basketball. It always is during basketball season. He is a HUGE Jazz fan! I don't know many 6 year olds that can watch an entire basketball game on t.v., but that is all Jaxson wants to do lately. He loves the Jazz games best, but if there aren't any on he will watch whatever games are on even if it is girls college games! He cracks me up. If he doesn't grow up to be an NBA player he will definately be a sports announcer! He repeats the whole 4th quarter to me play by play. It is hilarious!

Halloween and such

Since I last posted Jaxson turned 6 and Nelson turned 2. All my pictures of Jaxson's b-day party are on my brothers camera still so a late birthday post for him is to come! Nelson, well, poor third child didn't even get any pics of his b-day! Didn't even really get a party either. How bad of a mom am I! I am getting his pictures taken soon though so I will do a late birthday post for him too. Meanwhile, here are the pics of all things I haven't posted yet.....................

Fancy Birthday Party
Alex was invited to his cousin Miley's "Fancy Nancy" birthday party and I went to help with it. We got all dressed up fancy and went on a date to it.

The following pictures are just a bunch of fun pics we have taken of ourselves.

HALLOWEEN

The kids were such fun for halloween this year. Jaxson was Frankenstein, Alex was Elvis, and Nelson was a chicken. Nelson thought it was sooo cool that he could hold his bag out at peoples houses and they would give him candy! He was also very funny later that night when he was on an extreme sugar high!

DoG DaYz Of SuMmEr

I have not been very good at blogging all summer so the following is a very long post of our summer highlights!

Nelson and I at the Quick famlily reunion. Yes, Nelson has a big owie on his nose. He scraped off a good chunk of skin on the nightstand. He still has a big red spot on his nose and it has been over a month!

TEMPLE SQUARE

One Friday Jeremy decided we should take an impromptu trip to SLC. First thing we did was take the kids to Temple Square.

LAGOON

The main thing we wanted to do is go to Lagoon. At the beginning of the summer I won 2 Season passes to Lagoon on the radio! I was so excited. Jeremy and I were able to go by ourselves one day and I must say it was one of the funnest days of my life! And I was able to take a girls trip there which was also a huge blast! I was scared to take all my kids, but they had so much fun!
We only bought Jaxson a ride pass, but after watching Jaxson go on a few rides Alex insisted on going too. I was amazed at how brave he was.

Nelson pretty much sat in his stroller the whole time and did amazing! Of course, Jeremy gave him a Dr. Pepper to keep him happy! In fact, Jeremy's way of keeping Nelson happy on this whole trip was to give him our caffienated pop anytime he wanted. I was not very happy about that and I have had to retrain him since we have been home. Nelson has said very few words so far, pretty much mamma and daddy, but I am so proud to announce that now his favorite word to say is ........"POP"!

Nelson with his Coke Zero on the drive home.

Alex had way to much fun!

COUSINS
We got to have Zac, Hannah, Miley, and Grady over one day and we all played in the water and a ton of fun. I was having fun taking girly pictures of Miley.

Miley with cute flowers in her hair

Grady

Zac said the water slide was soooo slow, then I told him to get his shirt wet and go down on his stomach and he didn't think it was "so slow" anymore!

Miley is such a little poser

CAMPING

My parents and my brother and sis-in-law were going camping to Island Park last week, but Jeremy had a way busy week at work so he was planning on taking me and the kids up by ourselves. Then poor little Nelson got a severe case of croup and we ended up taking him to the E.R. at 11 p.m. He wasn't getting any better with any of the treatments so they wanted to admit him. We spent all night and most of the next day at the hospital. We decide to just go camping a day late because nothings better for croup than the cold, crisp mountain air. He did great, but his breathing still sounds pretty terrible and its been over a week! Anyway, so the pics below are of our camping trip to Island Park.
This is actually on the last day when Jeremy came back up. I think the kids were pretty wore out and ready to go home!

Playing in the water by Mack's Inn

Alex's favorite thing to do is throw rocks in the water.

Jaxson was looking for fish the whole time and then throwing rocks at them!

All the kids eating grampas cherry, chocolate cobbler. YUM!

One Dirty Kid!

Tired and dirty at the end of a long day!

Nelson loved sitting in the little campin' chairs. He looked so cute in them too!

Well, that about wraps up our summer. So now it's time for ..............

THE FIRST DAY OF KINDERGARTEN

Jaxson is really lucky because his cousin(kinda, distantly) Dylan lives just around the corner and they get to walk to the bus stop together and be in the same class.
Dylan and Jaxson giggling.
Jaxson excited to see the bus coming.
And last, but not least......Nelson decided to make Jaxsons first day of school and extra memorable one by breaking all the eggs on the floor!

How could you get mad at that face?
